Two new Sany mobile harbour cranes are heading to a customer in the Philippines.Sany Marine has entered the mobile harbour crane market.

The first two MHC’s are currently awaiting delivery to Cebu South Harbour and Container Terminal Corporation, Philippines. The cranes have a working radius of 11m to 54m, with a lifting capacity under a single lift spreader of 41t at 11m and 21.3t at 54m for container handling. Maximum capacity with hook operation for heavy lift is 125t at 11m and 30t at 54m.

The cranes feature Siemens PLCs and ABB motors. The electrical system is integrated by Sany itself. The drive axles in the undercarriage are from Kessler. Light fixtures are supplied by Phillips.

Cebu South Harbour and Container Terminal Corporation is a new facility nearing completion. It is being developed as private port development led by Puregold and Kudos Trucking Corp from Davao. The port is being developed as an alternative to the existing Cebu International Port. It is already handling containers from geared vessels for Moreta Container Lines.
